I think I see the confusion now. In the Aramaic of Corinthians 16:22, the Aramaic word for "accursed" is "khrim". That word is translated into the Greek "anathema."

The Greek translator rendered "khrim" into "anathema", and left "maran atha" untranslated since it was a recognized phrase even to the Greek reader.
