About Peshitta.org

Preserving the Aramaic New Testament for the digital age

The Peshitta is the official Bible of the Church of the East. The name Peshitta in Aramaic means "Straight" — the original and pure New Testament, written in Aramaic, the Language of Mshikha (the Messiah) and His Disciples.

Peshitta.org provides digital tools for the study and appreciation of the Peshitta text, including a complete Aramaic/English interlinear New Testament, a searchable lexicon and concordance database, and scholarly articles exploring the evidence for Peshitta Aramaic primacy.
