Regarding Holy Anointing Oil:
There is speculation on wikipedia that one of the ingredients of holy anointing oil(kanah bosem) was in fact
marijuana or cannabis. Could there be any truth to this? I'm concerned because I think rather lowly of marijuana
and fear that perhaps it could be true. If anybody could offer any thoughts on this it would be appreciated.
I suppose if it were true it wouldn't have to be sinful considering it an ingredient in the priestly oil and not
intended for use in smoking to get high. It just seems a little strange from my perspective because in modern time marijuana is considered an illicit drug.
