"He therefore who eats of the bread of the Lord, and drinks of his cup, and is not worthy of it, is guilty of the blood of the Lord, and of his body."- William Norton

Lamsa seems to be the only translator who translates the phrase in quetion with an adverb (unworthily. Everyone else translates it as as an adjective (is not worthy). The Greek uses "unworthy" as an adverb, therefore it is describing the manner in which you eat the Lord's supper, not your spiritual condition. According to Dukhrana's Peshitta tool, this is a verb in the Peshitta, not an adjective. The Greek definitely seems to agree with the context of the preceding verses. Can someone who can read Aramaic give me an more detailed exploration of this verse?
