Dead Sea Scrolls

Shlama Akhi Paul:
Can we have a separate section on the Forum for the Dead Sea Scrolls. We now have...

General, Aramaic Primacy Forum, Mistranslations, Polysemy-Split Words, Multiple-Inheritance, Variances Explained by Aramaic, Semitic Syntax, Aramaic Word-Plays, Aramaicisms, Contradictions, FAQ's, Aramaic Primacy 101, Aramaic Bible Codes.

Communities

Church of the East
Nazarene/Messianic Judaism Forum

Technical Forum.

Younan vs. Conder

Old Testament

I suggest a new Forum Category after Old Testament as a completely separate Forum Section.

Dead Sea Scrolls

The Dead Sea Scrolls forum section would be a place to pool together any and all relevant topics related to the history of the scrolls, geographic location of Qumran, all texts both Biblical and secular found in the caves. The linguistics of the scrolls will most certainly include Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. The huge literary backdrop of the Dead Sea Scrolls confirms that all the tools were in place for the writing of the New Testament in Aramaic. The corpus of Jewish literature during this period, reveals much about the Messianic expectations which culminated in the coming of Yeshua Meshikha. There is a fascinating and inseparable link between the Qumran library and community in its function within the Jewish Kolel. The scrolls of Qumran have uncovered significant understanding of the social and religious fabric of Judaism and the birthing of Christianity.

In conclusion, the Dead Sea Scrolls are a very real presence on the Internet. The Dead Sea Scrolls will shortly be presented on the Internet for unlimited access. Perhaps our discussions in this section of scholarship will inspire a fresh look at the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament and the plethora of pseudopigraphia which has arisen with the Gospel of Meshikha.

Shlama Akhi Stephen,

I think this is an excellent idea for encouraging the scholarly discussion of the DSS.
