Does anyone have a transliteration for the beginning of the Shema, and its reply, in Aramaic (anyone good with Arabic too??):
Sh'ma Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai echad.
Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.
Barukh shem k'vod malkhuto l'olam va'ed.
Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.
I've tried to read the Shema scriptures off the Targums pages, but I'm afraid I am paying poor homage to the language at this point in my Aramaic comprehension/pronunciation.
I may get no takers on this, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks so much to whomever has the time!
