I attended the Raza Qadisha for the first time today in Los Angeles. The new church building absolutely shines with the light of the Gospel. I have been reading about the Church of the East for years but haven't managed to attend a service until today. Though I knew no one there I felt very welcome and the Liturgy was easy to follow (I have the English text on my iPad). I was picking up some of the Aramaic by the end. I plan to return soon and hope to get to know a few people there. I am pleased to find this forum where I have found the answers to many questions I have had about the Church and its practices. Thanks to all who are involved here.
