I know that the NIV and the NAS follows the wording of the "Alexandrian" or "Eastern" text type, whereas the KJV & NKJV goes with the "Byzantine" or Western" text type, so I was surprised to see how the Siniaticus manuscript reads for this verse....
Here is H.T. Anderson's mid 1800s English translation of the Siniaticus Greek text.
27 "But which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to his age?"
