Nikolaos,
Thanks for being part of peshitta.org. I too am a 'convert'. I am mostly English and will soon be an Anglican Priest. In seminary I was not even told that Aramaic was behind the new testament except for one reference by John Howard Yoder (mennonite theologian and scholar) that Aramaic lies behind the gospel of Matthew. I too have accepted that Aramaic was the original language of the new testament. Most in my denomination believe Greek to be the original language, and it is my hope to confront the leaders of the church, both bishops, and theologians with this amazing evidence. I hope you will do the same in your circles. In the meantime, read the articles and books here and you'll see that many of your questions have already been answered somewhere. Don't hesitate to ask for help though either, as there are some very bright people here.
