By golly by gum! Indeed the Khabur, Khala, Hara and Gozan are found in II Kings 17:6, 18:11, and I Chronicles 5:26. It is the place where some of the tribes were carried away by the king of Assyria.
It's fascinating to think that the Assyrian Christian Community at Khabur found affinity with the remnant of exiled Hebrews. This area of research begs further probing.
