Shlama Akhi Paul -
We're hitting the limits of my ability to compose (in a somewhat speedily manner!) anything resembling Aramaic! The only vocalized text of the Peshitta I have is the 'red book'. For Matti 15:29 they have it vocalized as 'al gev, with a silent nun. Is this correct? are there instances in which the nun is pronounced? The Compendious Syriac Dictionary gives a suggestion.
Thanks Akhi - I need to work on my Aramaic 'chops'!
Also, forgot that 0rq9 was the appropriate word - but when I read your post, I was immediately reminded when I read through the book of Daniel and because Maimonides' "13 Principles of Faith" are known in Hebrew as ??yrqv rSv hSlS.
