Should Paul confirm your translation as correct especially with regard to "the Lord" vs "Satan" in 2 Samuel 24:1 and 1 Chronicles 21:1, then Peshitta OT is no different than the mainstream bible versions in this contradictory verses---and Septuagint is the only version that stands apart from the rest of the world. The next question will be: "Which bible version represents the closest translation to the "missing" original Ancient Hebrew OT? Could it be the mainstream versions?
Hope this makes our journey clearer, though in the form of more questions being raised.
