Galatians 6:15 - New Creation

For circumcision is not something, nor uncircumcision, but new creation.

Peshitta reads [font="Estrangelo (V1.1)"]0tdx 0tyrb[/font] (b'ritha ch'datha) here. Though b'ritha is the common word for creation, I can't help but wonder if it's possible that there is a hint here for the Hebrew term b'rith chadashah, new/renewed covenant? It would add some more depth and weight to the meaning of the verse if a correct inference.
