Aramaic primacy in India
#2
Hello,
I am from Kerala. Dr. Claudius Buchanan visited Kerala and he pointed out many interesting things about Christianity in Kerala through his book. Orthodox Churches in Kerala still use Syriac. In Kerala (especially Kottayam town), they teach Syriac. My Sister learned Beginner's Syriac recently at Kottayam. I think the teacher taught Syriac by using Eastern Script.

Rev. Kaniyamparambil Malpan translated Peshitta into Malayalam. The Book is called Vishudha Grandham ("Vishudha Grandham" means "Holy Book"). Here is a link about infos about Vishudha Grandham.
