Hi guys,
Was wondering if any of you have a degree in science or are adept at debating from the creationist perspective of origins?
Thanks.

I'm curious now, Alan. If I may ask, what is the purpose for the question?

Shlama Alan,
creationism is something i've diligently studied for about 17 years now, and tho i'm not a scientist, i have written a book that i hope to have published concerning a theory that would "scientifically" explain the mechanics of Genesis 1 while reading the text literally, among other things involving the periodic table and the Hebrew language. what exactly are you looking for. i live near a creationist museum and dinosaur tracks with human footprints running through them, so i've been actively seeking "answers" for a long time and have had good sources to help me in that journey. if i can be of help send me a pm.

The reason why I ask is that I am trying to gather a group of creationists together to tackle a group of atheists over at the Christian forums, I know two guys who are willing to go and both have good knowledge about science and philosophy,
Burning one, are you interested in helping us to defend?

Shlama Robert,
nope! near Glen Rose, Texas. multiple tracks with multiple human footprints running through them have been uncovered. very interesting artifacts in the museum, as well! also of interest is the museum hosts the ONLY complete Hebrew canon of Scripture in scroll form in the entire world. a recent addition that has been years in the making! groovy stuff!

Shlama, Alan,
oy - you just had to ask? i can't give a definitive: working two jobs and have a 1 month old + my 3 year old and marriage -- so i can't quite commit to a set time...maybe i could drop by and deploy the ammo, then stop back in after a couple days to see what damage i've done (friend or foe )....sorry, i'm not easy to work with at the moment. or maybe i should sit this one out, or just send you my "points" and let it go from there....suggestions are appreciated!

You may find the book, The Biblical Flood and the Ice Epoch by Donald Wesley Patten to be of interest. I first encountered this book about 1965 and have yet to find any theory that better "fits" what I see in the evidences of the geological breakup of the earth. It may be downloaded from this link: http://www.creationism.org/patten/
Also, I have found the most logical arguments in favor of creation available from this link (same entity as Dinosaur Adventure Land): http://www.drdino.com/. I have visited there and have their complete DVD set. To me, their evidence fits hand-in-hand with Patten.
