Verse association in Peshitta Tanakh manuscripts
#1
I've worked some magic and have scanned through all of the verses in the Peshitta Tanakh
available on the CAL website and have recorded all anomalies.

These verses are missing in the texts:
Exodus
• 35:18
Joshua
• 10:43
• 15:33
• 19:39
• 20:20
• 21:20
1Samuel
• 14:36
• 23:11
• 25:25
2Samuel
• 13:18
1Kings
• 3:23
1Chronicles
• 2:23,45,47-49,53,55
• 4:7,8,13,14,16-18,22,23,34-37
• 5:13
• 7:34-38
• 8:8,17-22,27
• 12:24
• 22:7
• 23:5
• 24:27-29
• 25:5,6,30,31
• 28:12-19
• 29:12-19
2Chronicles
• 4:3,11-17,19-22
• 5:12,13
• 9:25,29
• 12:1-12
• 13:13,14
• 20:22,23
• 24:13,14
• 25:22
• 26:7,14
• 27:8
• 28:14
• 29:7,11-19
• 33:4
Nehemiah
• 3:17
Job
• 29:6
• 30:3,4
• 41:22,23
• 42:22,23
Psalms
• 34:10
• 60:14
• 72:20
• 89:32
• 109:10
• 119:91
• 136:11
Proverbs
• 13:23
Isaiah
• 14:13,15
• 38:13
Jeremiah
• 37:9
Ezekiel
• 40:8

These chapters have strange verse ordering between the specified verses:
• Joshua 21:34-38
• 1Chronicles 3:6-9
• 2Chronicles 28:13-26
• Psalms 73:22-26, 119:51-52
• Isaiah 38:20-end

This chapter has a great number of extra verses between the specified verses:
• Daniel 3:23-24 (numbered 24-90)

These chapters have extra text between the given verses:
• 2Samuel 1:3,4, reading "Kingdom of Dawid"
• 2Samuel 2:3,4, reading "Kingdom of Dawid"
• 2Samuel 19:40,41, reading "The dissent of the people against Dawid and the rebellion of Shavu bar Bikhri [Sheba the son of Bichri]"
• 2Samuel 22:1,2, reading "A psalm of Dawid"
• Jonah 2:1,2, "The prayer of Yonan (some mss. add: in the Fish)"

These chapters have extra text at the beginning of the chapter (i.e. 'verse 0'):
• 1Samuel 2, reading "The prayer of Chana"
• 2Chronicles 6, reading "End of the first half of the book of Divreyamin [Chronicles]; The latter half of the book of Divreyamin [Chronicles]:"
• 2Samuel 12, reading "The admonition of Nathan the prophet for Dawid"
• 2Samuel 13, reading "The folly of Chamnon and his sin of sleeping with his sister"
• 2Samuel 15, reading "The death of Avshalom and the evil from his house like that which preceded Dawid, that Gad the prophet said to him"
• Jeremiah 1, reading "Now a certain writing of Eramya the prophet"

This chapter has extra text at the end of the chapter:
• Ruth 4, reading "End of the book of Ra`uth"

These chapters are numbered according to the
Christian numbering rather than the Masoretic numbering:
• Exodus 20
• Deuteronomy 5
• Joshua 21
• Jeremiah 30, 31

These verses have their own precedent for numbering:
• Numbers 25:19 => Numbers 26:1
• 1Samuel 24:1 => 1Samuel 23:29
• 1Samuel 24:2-23 => 1Samuel 24:1-22

I've also developed a tool that can convert between Aramaic, Masoretic, and Christian verse numberings.
You can access the tool and the full source code here: http://aschiff.ctz.org.il/versemap/

If you find any errors in the mappings, please send them to me by PM, email, IM, or as a reply here.
