Doing great - I've been missing for a little while, I know. I have a confession to make. As you know, I've been neglecting this site and my work here for a while.

To be honest, the latest poor excuse is that I've been extremely busy getting an on-line business up and running. A couple of fellows and I recently formed an internet store and we've finally got it up and running. Business is booming and keeping us on our toes. We've only been online for a couple of weeks and we've gotten hundreds of customers and orders in already. Very time-consuming and exciting.

Hopefully we'll get to the point where I can do the things I love - like translating and Aramaic, rather than being here at my job 9-5.

I will be returning soon - I promise. I need to make more time for this now that the business is up and running. Scold me now and get it over with - I deserve it. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s -->

Be gentle with us.......and, don't order anything from us if you don't absolutely need it, really - I appreciate the offer of patronage and all but we are absolutely overwhelmed at this point by the orders we've already received....and don't order if you aren't willing to be patient. Orders are supposed to be processed the same day, but our warehouse is extremely busy due to the holiday season rush and orders aren't being fulfilled in a timely fashion (at least as timely as I'd like them to be fulfilled.)

And, for the time being we can only accept U.S. orders due to restrictions our suppliers have placed upon us. (Uggghhh! <!-- s:mad: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/mad.gif" alt=":mad:" title="Mad" /><!-- s:mad: --> )

Cool we'll I'll direct my best friend to it. He's actually a priest that comes from a denomination with Assyrian Chuch of the East lines (they are all westerners). He's done a number of web stores and was even did a consumer electronics store way back in the late 90s "Stuff you want.com". Anyway I'm sure he'll be real interested to check out an Assyrian Electronics stores, it kind of combines two of his favorite things. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s -->


Oh by the way, don't feel bad about the foreign orders. Back before credit card checking was improved he actually lost money, by getting a ton of orders from places like India and Pakistan. All of which came from stolen credit cards, but at the time they didn't have good ways to check against that so you basically lost. IF he would have stuck to just domestic orders I think he would have made a profit. But he ended up loosing money. Oh well....
