Peshitto, Rev. 4 : 2 - Ivan Pavlovich Ostapyuk - 07-03-2004 In "The New Covenant Aramaic Peshitta Text ..." book Revelation 4 : 2 here the word "throne" is expressed as "khurs'ya" and "kus'ya". Does the word "throne" has these two Aramaic words or what?? Ivan. Re - Larry Kelsey - 07-04-2004 The word in the Syriac Peshitto is 'korsya.' That's the only word I could find. I wonder if he's referring to a derivative found in a faulty manuscript. I'm not sure. Here's the link for the word at peshitta.com--- http://www.peshitta.com/word.html?word=9954 |
