Paul writes to Ephesians - Gentiles possibly in Greek
#1
Shlama,
Looking at Eph. 3:1 - 8 " For this cause I, Paul, am the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles, ... that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Good News, ... To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, ".
From this passage we see that Paul writes not to Jews, but to Gentiles. The Ephessians were in Greece, we know from the Acts that Paul spoke Greek. This opinion suggests that Paul was writing the Epistle to Ephesians in Greek.
In any way, my opinion is that Greek NT text is very useful.

Could it be that perhaps he chose to mention those few Greeks who were in the church along with the Jews who were the beginning of that church?

If I write a letter in English to a parish in Texas and towards the end I mention the Mexican population within that church, does that necessarily mean that I wrote my letter in Spanish?
