He lost round 1, although to his credit he did in so many words agree to revise his position about Burkitt's idiotic theory concerning Rabbula creating the Peshitta.
Now if he had just kept it to that, and allowed us to move on cleanly without taking swipes at my God and my Wife, I would have a better taste in my mouth right now. As of this moment, I really feel like this is going to go nowhere.
Let's face it - he knows absolutely nothing about this topic and is relying on any quotes he can find anywhere to cut and paste into a reply intended to impress me.

Hehe I think we would all like your intellect in things Richard, speak your mind. I was really just getting to know you some from your posts, since your posts here were only on that topic, and I didn't know what to make of them.
Anyways, we try not to get caught up in 'Ol Darrell's negativity. I think Paul has fun making him look like crap though heh

It is of my humble opinion that during any debate, those participating as debaters must at least demonstrate basic respect. You have certainly demonstrated this as you endure his verbal diarrhea. Condor continuously maintains a hostile, bitter and condescending tone in almost everything he???s written on these forums thus far.
This should not be allowed to continue!
Besides his personal, off-handed and mean-spirited attacks upon you and your wife as individuals, his constant ridiculing of the subject matter should not be permitted.
It???s obvious that his weak positions require him to stoop to the gutter in a delusional attempt to appear articulate. I???m sure its apparent to most here that his underhanded tactics are backfiring since his character flaws are painfully becoming transparent as his personal bitterness and hostility rear there ugly heads as he attempts to reply to your well reasoned arguments.
Almost everything that comes out of this guy???s mouth is insulting and distasteful regardless where one stands on the issues being debated! Most politicians have more class than this guy. If he was running for even local office somewhere, I'm sure he'd be kicked off or laughed off a debate almost as soon as he???d open his mouth.
Maybe some fresh ground rules are in order?

Darrell has his agenda. He only wants to make someone else look bad so he can gloat over them. His logic backfired on him with Paul and he is mad about it, and so are his friends.
Repent, continue,...doesn't matter in his case. He'll find out in the end, and a whole lot of people will be laughing at him over his stupidity.
Not interested in his book, I have a better one.
