genealogy, Mary the rightful king?

What I will do is apply this in prayer. Somethings take time to open up if they are truth. If this is the truth on this Paul, then I will be led towards it and understandings will be given to me. I will know that i know that i know, from the inside, that sort of faith from our Lord will be on it.

I know your adamant about this Paul, you and your friends here, and I'm getting the feeling it may be more than just to prove some text, you have a true love for the word as I do, and I'm learning a lot here.

I feel that If I don't persue it with the Father of Truth above, then I would be doing you an injustice if you have found a truth. So off to prayer
As a sidenote, I did not find this at all. Can't claim credit for it. Nope.

If you search the old forum, you will find that it was brought to my attention. Yes, the Interlinear read very differently at one time.

I have no personal attachment to this theory. It could be right, it could be wrong. I could care less, personally.

But after spending months...almost years..... researching it and praying about it, I really believe it's right.

It fixes a lot of problems, yet can create more from folks.

How much of a new thing was our LORD above doing? Maybe we don't understand just how much he wanted to break from the old?

If it was true, it would certainly upset the established norm that folks expected. It also freed up Jesus to do as he pleased, within the confines that He had to fulfill. His miracles were undeniable, so the people upheld him, whilst the establishment hated him.
Paul, I am unsure if you should use the "Solomon is in Matthew's Genealogy" as support for that being Mary's. After all, BOTH lineages claim descent from Solomon, as Zerubbabel and Selathiel are involved in both, descendants of Solomon AND Nathan.

As for Dave, it may be Pharisaic Rabbinical Jewish tradition to say that the mother determines the race, but it certainly isn't Scriptural tradition Otherwise David and Jesus could be called Moabites
Yeah I am learning a lot too. God works in mystreious ways. Frankly, you pissed me off numerous times, but we have learnt, even from you. Thanks for the Peshitta-solved Greek contradiction regarding who would name Jesus!
I have a bad habit of hitting a person with my words at times. I shouldn't, just cause i can don't mean it's right.

challenge is ok in the right context, and i should learn what context that is here. I don't think that it's fair to be in flame mode all the time when i see something i don't agree about.

I have much to learn from you guys.

For the time being, I'm done with the genealogy topic as it is something for me to seek in prayer at the moment.

Thanks for the kind words
Is Maryam even ever called "Daughter of David" anywhere? I haven't seen anywhere after a brief skim through. If Y'shu was heir apparent (as opposed to mere physical descendant) through her wouldn't we see her Davidic ancestry stessed everywhere? As opposed to the silence on Maryam, I see Yosip being called, "Bar d'Dawid" by the malaka d'MARYAH in Mattai1:20, and his Davidic ancestry stressed in the Annuciation of Luqa 1:27, "Yosip of the House of Dawid."

Shlama, Craig
