Right. And Jesus was then rightful king of Judea, as the adopted son of Joseph. Lots of "cerebrality" going on there, but at least there is a non-contradictory solution.
Joseph and Jesus. Rightful kings who were carpenters. May sound odd, but it happened before when Nebuchadnezzer deposed Jehoiachin and set his own king.

In church teachings (bear with me here, there are some out there that do get it right heh), they call Matthews gospel the Kingly Gospel. So, this stands to reason, at least on a few out there that have it right.
Yeah apparently Matthew paints a picture of Jesus the King, Mark of Jesus teh Servant, Luke as Jesus the Man and John as Jesus the God.
But if the wrong idea of genealogy led weight to that idea...
