Megiddo - this is the reading of the Aramaic Peshitta and of the Greek MHT. The reading of the Greek NA28 and TR is: 'Armageddon' or 'Har-Mageddon', which is 'the mountain of Megiddo'. The place is located in the north of Israel in the valley plain of Jezreel and the mountain, more precisely 'hill' (because it is definitely not a mountain), near Megiddo is now called 'Tell-Megiddo'. It is strange that the Greek text also speaks of the Hebrew name, but then 'Har-Megid(d)on' as the Hebrew name indicates, sometimes with a single 'd' (MHT, NA28), sometimes with a double 'd' (TR).
