Do you think Luke 23:5 originally had:
"our people"?
"the people"?
Both the Peshitta and the by-A.D. 175 Diatessaron have "our people."
Luke 23:5 - But they shouted and said, "He stirs up our people and carries out his teaching throughout Judea. He has (thus) started in Galilee to this point. ”
our people - this is the reading of the Aramean Peshitta. The reading of the Greek NA28, MHT and TR reads: 'the people'.
Diatessaron 50:2
But they cried out and said, He hath disquieted our people with his teaching in all Judaea, and he began from Galilee and unto this place.
