Any Syriac broadcast?
#1
Shlama,

I want to listen to Syriac news daily/weekly. Is there any broadcast of that?
Dialects partially intelligible to Syriac are also fine.

Thanks

I don't know what this thing called "Syriac" you speak of is <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->, but here is a 24/7 satellite channel in Neo-Aramaic:

Thanks! I want to learn to speak a modern dialect that is closest to the Syriac of Peshitta era.
I haven't finished half of Thackston's Introduction of Syriac book you introduced me, but anyway... it's fun to listen to a language I don't understand.
If you think neo-Aramaic is good, then I'll go for it.

Thank you from me as well. I want the version with English subtitles, where is it ? ... just kidding. Tuned in and got an amazing mixture of neoAramaic and English. With blessings and thanks, Jerzy
