Shlama Shamasha PAul,
When I read the thread here:
http://beytministries.adcorestudios.com/...lo-script/
I'm curious on what's the exact date that had been found wheter an inscription or manuscripts. Then I found the old thread from the peshitta forum as follow
http://www.peshitta.org/forums/forumid6/1367.html
But it seems from 6 A.D. then you commented that it should be older than it is.
Would you explain me about those above?

Quote:The Estrangela is a Semitic Script probably developed between the 1st and 2nd century A.D. This was an offshoot of a cursive Aramaic script and have 22 letters as the Ktav Ivri and Ktav Ashuri. Some of the oldest inscriptions are found in the ancient city of Edessa and the surround cities between the 2nd and 3rd century A.D where some scholars believed it was developed.
