An easy way your own split words, or expand on others'
#1
And all this time Paul, you made think you were a Greek expert, armed to the teeth with jillions of different Greek mss

Does this site look familiar Akhi?

http://bible.ovc.edu/tc/index.htm

That site is awesome, shows many major variants in the Greek mss, and seems even to be used by Paul Younan, a major "split worder".

All those who are adept in Aramac, all you need to do is look at the varianst, cf. Peshitta and see if there is a 'link'.

Is that how you (Paul), AGR and Larry get it done?

Regards,

Chris

Another great source of variants, but only for the Gospels. If you're looking for variants in extraGospular books (love those Carusoisms ) try other sites and please post the links here.

Hehe...

Actually though you use that site don't you? Which one does Larry use? He seems to have a different one, or maybe he just presents it differently.

btw should we call the mistranslations "pseudo split words" or "semi split words"? This way, if we ever find just ONE Greek mss with the correct reading, it makes it an easy transition into "split word" territory... Plus we get the first drmlancism

Shlama Akhi Chris,

Well, I guess I better swallow hard and declare the whole truth!
That first URL is actually one of my favorites and if we can convince akhan Paul to 'fess up we'll have it made! That second one! Wow and Oh my gosh! We might have to stay tuned to Wieland Willker. Anybody that kicks out Greek textual comparison to the beat of approximately 1 megabyte per Gospel (1,408 pages in pdf !!), could be a mighty asset to our cause someday. That's some very deep water but an awesome find, akhi! I've never run into that one until now!
Also consider these web addresses for this type of research....

Dankeschoen Broeder!

But I have found a VERY easy way of finding split words I just finished a long session of "forum mining" and found a HECK of a lot of split words. My strategy? Type "Larry Kelsey" in the search, and look at every thread that started by you and has a verse reference as the title

ROTL

It really works
