Quote:The New Testament is both the Classical Aramaic and the Neo-Aramaic side-by-side, and it appears to be the eastern text. (with the eastern vowel markings, yay!)
The Old Testament is also both the Classical Aramaic and the Neo-Aramaic side-by-side. The Classical Aramaic represents the Peshitta version. The Neo-Aramaic was a fresh translation by the Presbyterian Church from the Hebrew Masoretic text. Also has the eastern vowel markings.

Sounds like this is a good one to have then. Good for Scripture studies and to help learn more of the written language, in both scripts.
Thanks,
