Looks like Aramaic OT is independent from LXX and Masoretic.

I wonder if Septuagint was translated from Aramaic OT instead of Old Hebrew OT, because Aramaic was the language of Jews during the time when Septuagint was written.

Another interesting point is the name "Jonathan." In Aramaic Peshitta Tanakh, it is Yonathan. In Septuagint, it is Jonathan. In Hebrew, it is Yehonathan (also written y'honathan).

Here is an example.

1 Samuel 20:1 (Hebrew Masoretic Text)

We see Yehonathan (a.k.a Y'honathan).

Another interesting point is Ptolemais in 1 Maccabees 10:1 is called Akko in Ceriani Veteris Testamentum.

In Peshitta, we read Akko in Acts 21:7 instead of Ptolemais in Greek NT manuscripts. We read Yonathan in 1 Maccabees 10:7 (Ceriani Veteris Testamentum) and Jonathan in 1 Maccabees 10:7 of Septuagint.

1 Maccabees 12:37 (Septuagint) - "Upon this they came together to build up the city, forasmuch as part of the wall toward the brook on the east side was fallen down, and they repaired that which was called Caphenatha."

We read in 1 Maccabess 12:37 of Ceriani Veteris Testamentum that "caphenatha" is a clumsy Greek transliteration of Aramaic word "aphaytha."

So it is possible that Septuagint was translated from Aramaic instead of Old Hebrew. Septuagint translation was finished around 132 BCE. But Maccabean revolt occurred around 167 BC - 160 BC. So it is possible that they had Aramaic version instead of Old Hebrew version.

The reason why I mentioned Maccabees also has to do with the fact that Yeshua Meshikha was in the temple during the feast of rededication (Hanukkah) in John 10.

Genesis 8:4, it says 17th day in Peshitta Tanakh, Hebrew Masoretic Text, and Samaritan Pentateuch.

But in Genesis 8:4 of Septuagint, it says 27th day.
