Titus 2:13 'happy hope'
#1
I've done a comparison of the occurrences of tabuwta (Aramaic, happy) and makarios (Greek, happy) in the Greek NT.
The Greek however, has in on of the 50 times against 49 times in the Peshitto a 'happy' instead of 'blessed'.

It says 'Looking for that happy hope'. (the KJV always translates makarios, see Strongs G3107,G3106 and G3108, with blessed)

The Peshitta(o) has 'blessed hope'.

I cannot say which variant should be authentic, however, blessings come from above, while happiness is something you can create yourselves. One also could say that a translator from either side (not jumping to conclusions here) just made a mistake.

I write this just FYI, maybe someone has a better insight.
