Hello I have a question that I could not find in the search option. It is a question about Revelation 22:14.
Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
NASB
Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
KJV
Blessed are they who do his commandments, that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
Murdock
Is there any reason why there are two different readings in the Greek New Testament sources? Are the two Greek words related to one Aramaic word?
Thank you for your time.
