This per version of The Bible would work for those groups who claim to be Christians and who advocate and teach that gay and lesbian and whatever else there is...to be natural and right, and fine with God?The groups, which elect for themselves gay and lesbian "pastors" and "bishops" and such clergy to lead them deeper into error.

Peirce Morgan on his talk show not too long ago was asking for the same thing...that the "flawed" Bible be "amended"...because of its teaching on homosexuality.

Just what we need. Yet another "version" of the scriptures custom-tailored to say what some group wants it to say. The other 300 or so versions aren't enough.

No the 300 are not enough, we need an Accurate English Eastern PeshittA translation, then that will be enough. Oh and we can just about burn the rest of the so-called NTs.

@Thirdwoe: isn't there a petition to get Pierce Morgan deported? I've got to find it and sign on.

@TexasRat: I have to get going on my plans to move back to America. I hear that Texas is just about the last place left. Illinoisistan is getting unbearable.

Here is the place to sign the petition. Not sure if it will work though. And I hear there is a counter British petition to the US Government, not to let him come back, because they were glad when he left.

Yeah, I heard this from Michael Brown the other day. The amazon review page is turning into a very hot debate, as can be imagined with this sort of topic.

Besides the fact that this sort of thing needs prayer, I find it interesting that whoever came up with this is staying as anonymous as possible. Hmm...

Question: I'm Canadian, and though I'd love to have Pierce Morgan off of the continent I live on, I don't think it's fair that other nations would have to take him either. Can I still sign the petition as a Canadian but merely indicate that I'd like him to be exiled to a remote area instead? Perhaps Patmos, and then maybe the after-effect of John's presence there 1922 years ago will rub off on him and he'll get a revelation?

lol...the Person who started the petition is the 1st name on the signature list...he's from Texas. CNN gave Mr. Morgan a huge platform, to express his views...and the show was not doing very well...so he started to get alot more provocative and contoversial in his interviews and opinions...most likely to try to get better ratings. Not sure if it will work though.

He needs an encounter with the risen Messiah, for certain.

There is nothing more sickening than to see someone twist the Scriptures so that they can keep living in sin. I have a bisexual friend and a homosexual uncle. There is nothing "homophobic" about believing that homosexuality is a sin. The "phobia" part of "homophobia" implies that homophobia is just a phobia (which is defined as an irrational fear). I am truly revolted by this news.

Yeah, otherwise we're all liaraphobics, adulteraphobics, murderaphobics, and so on and so forth. A sin is a behavior that goes against the righteous order of the universe. Those within the Body of Messiah are called not to live according to it. Those in the world may live as they please. Simple. We don't rewrite things to justify and make ourselves feel better though. We merely choose who we want to serve.

And there is only one Master who is truly worth serving and we all know who He is! Praise our Lord Jesus for being so good and faithful to us even when we are wicked and faithless. He's an awesome God!

I agree. We all have family, friends and coworkers who are living in this sinful lifestyle. We pray for them daily, as we first do for our own sins which are just as great. But it is indeed horrifying to see the scripture rewritten for this nefarious purpose. And then, as if to add insult to injury, they name it the "Queen James Version." It is meant to insult, that is all.

Can you imagine if the Jews made such a version of the Tanakh, or if a group of Muslims did such a thing to the Quran?

I find the fact that it is based on the King James Version ironic because of all of the rumors of King James being a homosexual. Intentional?

Why yes, actually...

"Why We Chose the King James Version

We chose the 1769 form of the King James Bible for our revision for the following reasons:
1. The obvious gay link to King James, known amongst friends and courtiers as ?Queen James? because of his many gay lovers."

King James' sexuality could be another research topic, I guess.
