Church of the East Christology
#1
This is a good sermon on the divinity of Christ and how it relates to His humanity for our salvation from Church of the East Christology.

I have a question about Church of the East Christology. I heard Mar Bawai the Great explained that in early period before Ephesian council, some of Assyrian Fathers were using one qnuma Christology before two qnume became the norm to speak about two individuated natures of Christ. May I know what caused this shift of terminology in Church of the East Christology? Is it because Aristotelian logic is more favored than Platonic?

Sincerely,

Adithia

You have heard Mar Bawai the Great explain this? Wait on the internet right?

Or, is Christology still an issue here?

The Coptic church has signed a joint declaration, I remember reading about it. Has the Assyrian Church considered it? Isn't it basically, "Let bygones be bygones"?

IIRC it's approximately as old as I am, 38 years old. However my recall maxes at 98%. so

PS. How did you do the hyperlink? The best I got was Kierkegaard on the Couch - happydays.blogs.nytimes.com - - Seems legit

Hi Aditithia,

I am an alcoholic. According to almost everything I've ever heard, I will always be an alcoholic. If you wouldn't mind, would you say a prayer for my friend "Tequila", for his health and well-being?

Blessed is The Lord, Our God.

(Is that right?)

Anyway (I'm only on my 6th Caucasian, so I'm okay), do you have any sources? Tawahedros III (sp?) is famous for his historical innacuracy.
