Can you relate your experiance of seeing the Blessed Virgin Mary? That is quite a statement there.
Also, you are correct that the term "Mother of God" or rather "Theotokos" which literally is "God-Bearer", rather than "Mother of God" does not appear in any Church Father's teaching in any writting that has come down to us during the 1st-3rd Centuries, until about the year 320-324 A.D. (early 4th Century), where we see it 1st being used by Bishop Archelaus of Caschar, in his book "The Acts of the Disputation with the Heresiarch Manes" 6.223, about 320 A.D., and by Bishop Alexander, Patriarch of Alexandria 6.296, about 324 A.D.
This term no doubt came to be used because of the Arian Heresy, which was raging during this time and these Bishops were leading the fight against the false teaching of Arius concerning Christ and His Divinity.
