Shlama Akhan Arkady,
I remember when the liturgical books we use condemned people like Bishop Cyril. We have removed these condemnations for many years now. No one asked us to do it, we simply felt like it was the right thing to do. It was a unilateral decision made in love and not as a gesture or a recommendation that you reciprocate.
Leave the past in the past where it belongs. Today and tomorrow your brothers are dying because they are stuck between Shias and Wahhabis, neither of whom care about or have even heard about Ephesus. Ephesus today has a Turkish name and has only mosques, because of our tendency to divide amongst ourselves. Love and Unity is more important.
