The Wrath of The Lamb
#1
I found this mis-translation tonight while doing a study on all the MARYA "Master YHWH" renderings in the 1st edition of the AENT for the verse in Revelation 14:10 where it has in English "Elohim"...but the Aramaic that I have to study from at Dukhrana.com shows Marya in the verse.

Which, according to the other instances where Marya is in the Aramaic text, the AENT translates it Master YHWH...especially when the Context shows it to be such if not at all times...which Aaron, said was the case the other day.

In the other places where the term "Wrath of Alaha" or as the AENT has it --->"Wrath of Elohim" in the Peshitta, as in Rev 14:10...namley Rom 1:18, Col 3:6, and Rev 15:7...is for some reason not translated the same in the AENT for Rev 14:10

Any one know why this might be?

So....Whose "Wrath" are these verses speaking of, which all read "Elohim" and "Marya" in this one verse?

Is not Marya Elohim? Is not Marya YHWH?

Lets look at one more verse to find out:

Rev 6:16-17 "And they said to the mountains and to the clefts, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the Throne, and from the wrath of The Lamb. For the Day of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand?"

There it is...in black and white.

Elohim=YHWH=The Lamb. <!-- s:bigups: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/bigups.gif" alt=":bigups:" title="Big Ups" /><!-- s:bigups: -->
