Evidence for mark being penned in Aramaic
#1
Rightly or wrongly the priority of Marks gospel seems to be generally accepted. mark is somethimes seen as coming from a non palestian source and written to a Roman audeince, and of course written in gree. It therefore seems reasonable that if one can show that marks gospel was written in Aramaic then the case for any derivative material recievs a great "shot in the arm".
I am interested in collecting all the obvious evidence for mark being penned in Aramaic. I might try to list the evidence in this thread, and any help is appreciated. <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smile.gif" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->
