According to Jastrows P 92, which mentions the Syriac word Estranya related to the Arena, Amphitheater and yes, it would be a Greek origin word.
G.D. Bauscher choose to translate it as follows;
"But she who worships the Arena is dead while she lives."
This is a very unique rendering, however, I wonder if there is any other source who can confirm this besides Jastrows?
