I read something like this once. I decided to test it myself, and I came up with a Thursday crucifixion. That way He comes into Jerusalem with fanfare on Sunday the 10th the day that the people are to choose their lamb (Exodus 12). I found that Mark was the only writer that gave any kind of day-by-day chronolgy.
I haven't really delved into the Aramaic to see if there are definite meanings for some terms like "after two days". Is that two daylight periods or two days of evening and morning?
