I've got a theory about this.
I was not raised with the KJV, and neither was I with the Dutch counterpart, the Dutch 17th age 'translation of the state' (Statenvertaling)
I was raised with a Bibletranslation from the Watchtower. I've no bias at all, that that translation is ok, I even do not use it as a checkup etc.
But -still- I discovered that during proofreading of the Dutch Aramaic Peshitta, I had rendered some verses in the style of the NWT (new world translation) The brain just works like that, it's a blind spot.
You see the letters and the words, but you think the KJV-lines. Of course, when I found out, I corrected the rendering <!-- s

Thank you very much for making certain that the word 'big' really was not there <!-- s
