Hebrews 12:4 strange difference
#1
According to the Peshitta it reads like this:

Ye have not yet reached unto blood, in the contest against sin.

According to the Greek text it would be like:
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, in the contest against sin.

Now I suspect (I'm not that good with it like G.D. Bauscher) that the last word 'resisting against sin' has been double read in 'resisting unto blood' or it was misread as the aramaic word "mrad," (rebel, resist, greek=antikathistem?)

Now I think that the Aramaic reading is quite logical.
Verse 2 says that Jeshua has endured unto the cross for our faith.
Verse 3 says: Do not become weak
Verse 4: You have not yet reached unto blood in the struggle against sin

So, I think that Paul meant that they, did not yet accept the sacrifice of Jeshuas blood. The Greek seems to say: "You must fight to death against sin."

Verse 2 does not say that Jeshua did in a struggle against sin or something like that.
Verse 24 even goes on and explains.
and to Jeshu the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the sprinkling of his blood,

This Greek sentence, does not make sense in Christian teaching. _everybody will die in sin_ so, fighting against sin, is not the main message of christianity.

What do you about these different readings of verse 4?
