Mark 3:18 Zealot or Canaanite
#2
Shlama Ozfire:
Welcome to the forum. Paul Younan's Interlinear translates "qananya" as zealot. Qananya is the Hebrew word for zealot and has been mistranslated as Canaanite in the Greek New Testament in Matthew 10:4 and Mark 3:8 but is correctly translated as zealot in Luke 6:15 and Acts 1:13. The four lists of the disciples are in agreement. They are only resolved in the Peshitta New Testament, but not in any Greek manuscript that I am aware of.

Shlama,
