Revelation 13:18 on the crawford manuscript
#1
Who can scan this verse for display?

According to the Walid Shoabat, Revelation 13:18 contains Arabic characters which say: "ibn allah" (In the name of Allah).

Now, I wonder if the Crawford manuscript, also has non-aramaic characters.

Shlama Akhi:
It's a complete fabrication and this type of study is not scholarship at all. Turning letters on their side to read and compare the text is "over the top", if you get my drift. It is just plain wrong to exploit feelings of animosity while misreading words from the Bible. I'm going to keep a close eye on this thread and if it even appears to me to lean in the direction of prejudice against Muslims I will delete it in its entirety. Fair warning has been given.

Shlama,

Hi Stephen,

I'm glad you found out it's forgery.

It is what Walid Shoabat in his campaign on TV sais is true or not.

I am not a person who believes anyone solely for his/her word as you might know from me on this forum.
I was wondering if the Aramaic manuscript had such other non Aramaic characters as well but as I had understood from you, aparently not.

I also did some research, and found that the vaticanus does -not- contain revelation at all.
