First Day of the week

Can anyone explain to me "how we get first day of the week" from the aramaic of Luke 24:1.

Before giving your answer it may be well worth reading a topic I posted a few days called luke 24:1, it is quite a long thread between myself and Stephen Silver, unfortunately he was unable to shed any light on the topic.
