Need to purchase new New Testament
#1
Shlama,

I need to replace my old, worn out New Testament with a new one, preferably used by fellow Assyrians. I checked Aramaicbooks.com for an Eastern Aramaic Peshitta but I can't seem to find anything outside of reprinted manuscripts.

Any suggestions as to where I can purchase one?

Thanks in advance.

Shlama,

Hi Ya'aqub,

You can contact the Mar Gewargis Church bookshop in Chicago and they should have plenty of copies there. Be sure, however, to tell them that you want the "old language" version. This way they will know that you are refering to the new testament version in the classical dialect as opposed to a version they offer in a neo-Aramaic dialect. I'm assuming here that you want the classical version. Here is their address and phone #: 7201 N Ashland Blvd; Chicago, IL 60626
(773) 465-4777

Peace!
