Messaging in Unicode Syriac.

Shlama Akhay,

Just for the benefit of those who didn't know. You can type in Unicode Syriac on Skype. http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/skype
And where you type your full name. You can write a name for yourself in Syriac which will be seen in the chat window.

Also, for those of you who don't like where the keys are locating on the Windows Unicode Syriac Keyboard input, there is a program you can download called "the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator" http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/msklc.mspx

It lets you move the keys around to where you want them to be. I personally learnt how to type with the Israeli Hebrew keyboard layout, so I made a custom Syriac keyboard layout that matches that. A = Sheen, S = Daleth, D = Gimel. That works well for me.

I just thought this infomation might be useful for some. If not, you can delete the post.
