I'm curious, are any of you familiar with an Aramaic text of the Didache?

While my net search didn't bring up an Aramaic text, The Peshitta Foundation has translated Limuda (Didache) from Aramaic for their Peshitta version, Aramaic English Standard Version. They've inserted Limuda in their Peshitta translation as Acts 15:29, which they claim was part of the text in the original! I'm not prepared to accept this (this group looks a bit funny to me), but it would be interesting to read Limuda in the context of Acts 15, you can view it on this page: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.standardversion.org/p-aesv-book-acts.php">http://www.standardversion.org/p-aesv-book-acts.php</a><!-- m -->. There is a similar very interesting work called Didascalia, which appears in the broader NT cannon of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which was translated from Aramaic. There is a similar very interesting work called Didascalia, which appears in the broader NT cannon of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, which was translated from Aramaic. Christina, it was actually the Peshitta Foundation's claim of an Aramaic Didache text that inspired this thread. I've emailed them twice and never heard back from them anything regarding this phantom text. I'm inclined to think it doesn't exist.

LOL, so I'm not the only one who has "funny feelings" about The Peshitta Foundation. Surely an Aramaic text of Didache exists, as Didache is part of the Apostolic Fathers, and the Aramaic churches are Patristic churches. What I'm not sure of is if there's an Aramaic original, but there must be an Aramaic translation.

Yeah, their whole operation seems really...lame. I don't get the impression that it's "fishy" so much as that it's just plain unscholarly.
Well, I would kind of lean the other way. My Greek sucks, because I haven't taken any Greek since like fourth grade, but the syntax of the Didache is, unless I'm badly mistaken, quite Semitic. The original was probably in Aramaic. The question is whether or not there is an extant copy of the Aramaic text. That's what I'm saying I don't think exists.
