Messianic/Nazarene Synagogues in London, UK
#1
Shalom all,

Anyone here know of any Messianic/Netzari congregations in London, UK? Will be moving there in January, and I'd like to find a congregation where I can celebrate Shabbat, learn Torah & fellowship with fellow Netzarim. It'll be my first time, as there is no congregation where I currently live. Any useful info about the Netzarim communities in the UK? Haven't found much on the net so far.

Thanks,
Christina.

Shlama Christina,

I was finally able to find a website I came across a long, long time ago.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.comyisrael.org/">http://www.comyisrael.org/</a><!-- m -->

Unfortunately, it looks as though it's been abandoned for about as long a time ago as that.

Perhaps someone MIGHT reply if you try to send an email ("contact"). I believe whoever the webmaster(s) was/were are closer to Europe than us North Americans. I'll try something else in the meantime. Otherwise, know that you are not alone as far as being a fellowshipless Yisra'elite. It's very painful, I know. I've been going at it for around 2 years now. Have to leave "home" in order to Shabbat, and just find a place; any place. It's a nightmare in winter.

Shlama akhi Ryan,

Thank you for the link, I will email them and hopefully get a response. I do know that there's a YAI/Banai Yeshua synagogue in London, but since this polygyny scandal arose I don't wanna go there. Man there must be something, its London, UK for crying out loud, there is a sizable Jewish population there, so there's gotta at least one Netzari shul.

Shlama Christina!

Well, I got you a lead. I don???t know if it???s what you want to hear, but it???s more than anything else so far. Or perhaps you???ve already found something yourself by now? Here???s my conversation so far, which I just went ahead and copied, and also ???I.P.???d??? (identity-protected). Let me know how I should proceed, and if you want names and numbers!

Shlama Ryan,

Toddah rabbah for what you've posted, I managed to find the website for that congregation in Holborn, and some other leads as well (quite a few of the sites that were down the last time I did the search seem to up again). I would like to get in touch with your friend in Northampton, give him my email address, it'll be good to make some friends in the UK before I leave.

Thanks very much for all your help akh, looks like the search is starting to yield some fruit.

Shlama,
Christina.
