Shlama Akhi Paul,
I was wondering if 1st John 2:19 would qualify for the poetry section. Menan (from us / of us) is used 5 times.
Am I dreaming this or is 1st John absolutely loaded to the gills with all kinds of parallelism?!?!?!? <!-- s:tellme: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/tellme.gif" alt=":tellme:" title="Tell Me" /><!-- s:tellme: --> <!-- shocked: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/shocked.gif" alt="hocked:" title="Shocked" /><!-- shocked: -->
Could we see some of your translation handiwork if we've "hit the jackpot"? By the way, the theme of sons, fathers, young men, and boys in 1st John 2:12,13 &14 is quite striking in its poetical aspect, you think?
