Finding Falseness Where You Least Expect It
#1
After reading Paul's post about 'Plan G', it reminded me that I used to communicate with two Assyrian Church of the East Priest's.

Father Dimitri, and Father Birnie.

Father Birnie even went so far as to help guide me with a seven page letter about Syriac names for babies.

One of my daughters carry's a Syriac name, because Father Birnie in his kindness, sent me this letter.

But interestingly, both of these men thought that THE PESHITTA WAS TRANSLATED FROM THE GREEK, and NOT THE GREEK FROM THE ARAMAIC (Syriac).

Father Dimitri thought this so strongly, he sent me a very intense e-mail, that was quite persuasive in pushing the belief that the Peshitta was actually translated from the Greek, and NOT vice versa.

For a few months I actually believed this, based on what Father Dimitri told me.

It took me reading some material from Andrew Gabriel Roth to blow this lie loose from my mind and soul.

Sadly, both of these men (Fr. Dimitri & Fr.Birnie) were involved in this 'Plan G' to hijack the Assyrian Church of the East, and to forcibly submit it under the yoke of the Roman Catholic Church.

This really might explain just WHY these two Assyrian Priest's believed as they did, in "the Greek came FIRST" idea.

That they were both involved in this covert operation to bury the Assyrian Church of the East forever under the Roman Catholic Church explains MUCH to me.

The Roman Catholic Church believes that the Greek PRE-DATES the Latin, and of course it also pre-dates their later English translation of the New Testament, that (also) came from the Latin.
